Experiential Learning at USask
To prepare for the challenges of today and the opportunities of tomorrow, recruiting competent and experienced students and graduates is vital to the growth of business, innovation within industry, and the stability of our economy.
Experiential Learning (EL) opportunities are key to supporting students' development of core skills and competencies and preparing them to Be What the World Needs. Our partnerships with employers, community organizations, and industry leaders are critical to creating successful EL initiatives including our Co-op and Internship programs.
Hire a Co-op/Internship Student
Computer Science Professional Internship Program
Opportunities include start dates in May and September and last for 12 or 16 months.
Edwards School of Business Co-operative Education Programs
Recruit from September-December! Undergraduate and MBA students are available each January for 8 to 12 months.
Engineering Co-op Internship Program
Opportunities include start dates in January, May and September and last for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months.
Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy Executive Internship Program
Recruit students with a depth of policy knowlege and an eagerness to learn. Placements begin in September and last for 8 months.

Community Partners engage with USask students through project-based work experiences that are highly impactful for the community and mutually beneficial for students and partners.
Virtual Project-Based Learning Platform
The world's leading virtual project-based learning platform enables companies to collaborate with USask students and faculty to gain fresh insights, find and recruit talent, and increase brand awareness through work-based learning.
RBC Experiential Learning in the Workplace Course
This is a three-credit course where students apply their academic knowledge while acquiring and expanding transferable skills through work experience.
Indigenous Student Internship Program
The Indigenous Student Internship Program (ISIP) is meant to foster student growth, enhance self-determination, and provide cultural and land-based experiences.
